Unlabeled German 4/4 Violin, circa 1920

One of the shop's finer examples of German violin making, noted for its response rate that will mold to any type of player.  Great condition for its age, varnish has natural wear and patina to further enhance the gorgeous wood the German workshops of the era were fortunate enough to have easily accessible.

Tonal Review:

  • Bright and clear with a warm undertone
  • Very quick response to playing
  • Easy string navigation
  • High quality, full-body tone
  • Bright upper strings with complimenting darker and rounder lower strings

Measurements:

  • Length of Back 360mm
  • Upper Bout 160mm
  • Lower Bout 195.6mm
