Michael Todd III Special Edition Cello - 100/50 year old wood!

Yet another Special Edition Michael Todd (wow, we LOVE doing these!) made of 50-year old maple and 100 YEAR OLD SPRUCE!  This rare spruce is nearly extinct these days, it was salvaged from the beams of an old temple.  Incredible story and even better cello!  

This instrument features vastly aged (normal is 2-10 years) maple and spruce, and varnished with a beautiful and supple antiqued oil varnish.

Setup with boxwood fittings of the highest quality, and fitted with Wittner Ultralight tailpiece and New Harmony Music carbon fiber endpin. Despiau "Two-Tree" bridge, ebony fingerboard, inlaid purfling, solid, carved throughout, aged spruce and maple of the highest quality, antiqued varnish.
