StringWorks opened its doors in 1997, providing high quality, handmade stringed instruments and bows to students and intermediate players. Since that time, we have introduced a number of new instrument lines to fill the demand from more advanced players, up through the pre-professional level, always with the same commitment to quality, value, and tone that created our reputation in the industry.

Now, with StringWorks: The Collection, we are proud to offer professional level instruments and bows from contemporary makers around the world as well as some rare and antique instruments and bows. Our commitment to customer service carries through on all our StringWorks: The Collection instruments and bows as well, so we hope you will give us a chance to satisfy your musical needs.

Current StringWorks customers can take advantage of our spectacular trade-in policy, applying their instrument purchase amount in credit toward an instrument or bow from The Collection. All instruments and bows are available with a free 14-day in-home trial policy, so that you, as the player, can sample the instrument or bow in locations that are comfortable for you and get a true sense of whether or not you have found a fit.
