2004
Trade-in. Gorgeous cello,
with a warm honey brown oil varnish, moderately antiqued - new
Despiau Belgian bridge, Wittner Ultralight composite tailpiece,
Larsen/Helicore strings, carbon fiber endpin. Two expertly
repaired cracks, hardly visible. Very highly figured
maple, tight grain spruce top - big, lush sound - an incredible

strings; repaired 3" top crack coming down off the lower curve
of the right f-hole; excellent rich tone, noticeably more open
than a new Artist

tight grain spruce top. Comes with J. Tabary carbon fiber bow
(org. $111.50), carbon fiber "Incredibow", and Travelite
ultralight hard cello case.
This comes as a full outfit (2 bows) for almost the same price
as just a new MTII cello alone!
